Pause to bring your attention to the sensations of your next three breaths

"May we be fully present, here and now, aware of the gift of each moment.
May we pay attention with kindness to what is happening within us and within our children.
May our hearts open wide with compassion for ourselves, our children, and our world.
May we live fully in our bodies as we bless our families each day.
May we open to the great love and grace that holds us all.
May we care for each other and for the earth as we draw wide the circle of our family.
May we all find peace.
May we all be well."
-Denise Roy

Wishing you a peaceful day

Pause for 3 Mindful Breaths

“Every piece of food we eat has its own rich origin story, which we usually don’t think about.
Next time you sit down for a meal, take a moment to acknowledge everything that went into the food on your plate.
Consider the people who made it, bought the ingredients, stocked the store shelves, delivered it, harvested it, and all the natural elements of sun, rain, soil, and wind that allowed it to grow.”

-Elisha Goldstein and Stefanie Goldstein

Pause for 3 Mindful Breaths

"Life offers its wisdom generously.
Everything teaches. Not everyone learns.
Life asks of us the same thing we have been asked in every class:
"Stay awake."
"Pay attention."
But paying attention is no simple matter.
It requires us not to be distracted by expectations, past experiences, labels, and masks.
It asks that we not jump to early conclusions and that we remain open to surprise."
-Rachel Naomi Remen

Wishing you many moments
of staying awake
paying attention
and being open to surprise

Walk Slowly
by Danna Faulds

It only takes a reminder to breathe,
a moment to be still, and just like that,
something in me settles, softens, makes
space for imperfection. The harsh voice
of judgment drops to a whisper and I
remember again that life isn’t a relay
race; that we will all cross the finish
line; that waking up to life is what we
were born for. As many times as I
forget, catch myself charging forward
without even knowing where I’m going,
that many times I can make the choice
to stop, to breathe, and be, and walk
slowly into the mystery.

Wishing you many mindful moments
as you move through the day
