Yesterday’s reminder included a link to a video clip in which Jon Kabat-Zinn discussed the importance of the attitudes brought to the formal and informal mindfulness practices.
He named 9  foundational attitudes:
Acceptance
Beginner’s mind
Non-judgment
Non-striving
Letting go
Patience
 Trust
Gratitude
Generosity
In addition to being reminded to pause and bring awareness to present moment experience, you may find it helpful to also be reminded to bring awareness to the attitudes with which you practice mindfulness.
