Pause for 3 Mindful Breaths

"The present IS my life

Not some beautiful, imaginary future once I reach my goals.

Mindfulness isn’t just a technique, it’s a way of being.

When I’m being mindless, I’m actually missing in action from my life. Those precious, beautiful moments that speed by so quickly.

Despite teaching mindfulness and mindfulness meditation, often my days seem more like small islands of mindfulness in a vast sea of mindlessness.

And that’s OK. It doesn’t have to be perfect.

It’s a continual remembering and coming back to the present.

To my beautiful, glorious, messy, imperfect life.
